Who We Are
Ruin & Redemption was born out of a love of Victorian gothic and steampunk, alongside foraging in the beautiful countryside of Dumfries & Galloway.
We have been making liqueurs for many years and turned this from a hobby to a micro business.
Most of the fruit, herbs and flowers used have been foraged for locally and we are also delighted to trade people for gluts of fruit in good condition. These liqueurs are made in small batches and many are seasonal so once they are gone there won't be any more till the following year. New ones will pop up time and again as we are inspired by what we find.
I am keen to avoid contributing to the single use plastic problem that is harming our planet and endeavour to use recycleable materials wherever possible. To this end the bottles and wax are returnable for a small refund and recycled.
Our intention is to create an enjoyable experience and involve our customers. We have matched the liqueurs with a song, related to either ruin or redemption, that inspired or enhanced the liqueur.
